      Combine Events

      Select the event bar, select "Combine Events", select the events to combine, and "Start selected events"

      Solution

      Select the event bar at the top of the screen, select "Combine Events", select the events to combine, and start the selected events

       

      Note: Empty lanes, lane changes made on the pool deck, & combining heats, or any other real-time changes on the pool deck are automatically processed by the Swimmingly timing in-app. For combining events, follow the instructions below.

       

      Please make sure all volunteers have updated their Swimmingly App to Version 11.x.x!

      Please Note: Blue events on the heat sheet indicate that they are eligible to combine. You DO NOT combine events before the meet on the heat sheet.

      Pro Tip: Edit the heat sheet by dragging and dropping swimmers to the lanes they will be in for the events you know you are going to combine (ex. Event 5 and Event 6 are being combined. Drag & drop swimmers in Event 5 to lanes 1 and 2 and drag & drop swimmers in Event 6 to lanes 3, 4, and 5).

      Step 1: Select the Event Bar

      Step 2: Select "Combine Events"

      Step 3: Select the events to combine and select "Start Selected Events"

      Step 4: Start the events! 

      "Multiple Events" in the event bar will confirm that you are starting a combined event

      Step 5: Return to starting Single Events

      Select the Event Bar

      Select "Single Event"

      Select the event

      Confirm the event by selecting "Start Selected Event"
