How to Upload and Replace Images on Your Website
Adding and updating images is a simple process that allows you to customize your website to fit your team's branding. Follow these steps to upload new images, replace existing ones, and insert images into new sections.
Replacing an Existing Image
- Locate the image you want to replace.
- Click on the image to open the editing options.
- If you mistakenly click "delete," you can quickly undo the action by selecting the undo button.
- To replace the image, click on the image icon.
- A box will appear where you can upload a new image.
- Choose from:
- Your media library (previously uploaded images)
- Stock photo search (browse available images)
- Once you've selected your image, click Insert File to apply the change.
Removing an Image
- To delete an existing image, click on it and select the X to remove it.
- If you want to replace it, follow the steps above to insert a new one.
Adding an Image to a New Section
If an image slot doesn’t already exist, you can manually add one:
- Look for a plus (+) sign in the section where you want the image.
- Click the plus sign and choose "Create Your Own".
- Select Image from the options and drag it into the section.
- Upload or select your image as outlined in the replacement steps.
- Click Insert File to finalize the placement.
Making Adjustments
- If you want to swap out an image after inserting it, repeat the replacement process.
- If you decide you don’t like an image, you can always remove it and start fresh.
