How to Edit Text on Your Website

Customizing text on your website is quick and straightforward. Whether you're updating information, adjusting formatting, or refining the design, you have a range of tools at your disposal to make your content look exactly how you want.

Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you navigate the process.

1. Selecting the Text to Edit

To begin making changes, simply click on the text you want to modify. Once selected, you can start typing immediately to replace the existing content.

2. Using the Formatting Toolbar

As soon as you click the textbox, a formatting toolbar will appear, offering various options to refine the look of your content.

  • Font Adjustments: Use the T icon to change the font style and size.
  • Text Styling: Apply bold, italics, or underline to emphasize key points.
  • Spacing & Layout: Modify the line height, letter spacing, and text weight to improve readability.

3. Changing Text Color

Want to match your brand’s theme? Click on the color box in the toolbar to select a new text color. You can either choose directly from a color palette or enter a custom color hex code.

  • If you've already selected your theme colors, they will appear as quick selections—choosing from these ensures consistency across your pages.

4. Aligning & Enhancing Your Text

Beyond basic formatting, you can fine-tune how your text appears on the page:

  • Adjust the alignment (left, center, or right).
  • Insert a hyperlink to direct users to another page.
  • Duplicate text elements to reuse content elsewhere on your site.

5. Removing or Replacing Text

If you need to start fresh, simply delete the text box and add a new one in its place. There’s no need to worry about making mistakes—you can always undo changes or retype content as needed.

By following these steps, you can effortlessly edit and refine the text on your website, ensuring it aligns with your team’s branding and communication style.
