How to Edit and Customize Buttons on Your Website

These elements are often referred to as CTAs (Call to Action buttons) since they encourage users to take specific actions, such as signing up or navigating to another page. Here’s how you can modify and personalize them to match your website’s style and functionality.

Selecting a Button to Edit

Start by clicking on the button you want to modify. Once selected, a toolbar will appear with various customization options.

Adjusting Button Size & Shape

  • Choose from preset sizes: Small, Medium, Large, or set custom dimensions for width and height.
  • Modify the button's shape by adjusting the corners—opt for rounded edges for a softer look or square edges for a more structured design.
  • Add an icon to enhance visual appeal. Select from the available options and customize its position, size, and spacing within the button.

Customizing Button Colors & Hover Effects

A button’s appearance can change when a user hovers over it, improving engagement and visibility.

  • Default Background & Text Color: Choose a color for your button’s normal state.
  • Hover Effect: Set a different background color that appears when users hover over the button.
  • Text & Border Colors: Adjust the text and border colors for both the regular and hover states.
  • Adding a Shadow: Enhance the button’s look by applying a subtle shadow effect.

Linking Your Button to a Page or URL

Every button should direct users to the right destination:

  • Link to an existing page by typing in its name and selecting it from the list.
  • Link to an external URL by entering the web address manually.

Aligning, Duplicating, or Deleting Buttons

  • Remove a button easily by selecting the delete option.
